A Brief History of Artificial Intelligence
The history of AI dates back to ancient philosophers and has seen tremendous advancements from the 20th century onwards. From the 1950s onwards, AI has become increasingly tangible, from early expert systems to Deep Blue, which won at chess in 1997. In recent years, AI has made huge strides thanks to the availability of large volumes of data, more powerful hardware, and deep learning.
