Jako Wine wanted to offer guests at Vinitaly 2023 a memorable and innovative experience. We created a system that converts every gift bottle into a digital token on the Algorand blockchain: guests receive an NFT via email, the wine remains stored in the cellar until consumption, and a secondary market emerges for exchanges without physically moving the bottles.

Premium gifts without traceability or a market

In the high-end wine sector, bottle gifts at events are often anonymous: no traceability, no way for collectors and investors to exchange them without physically moving the bottles.

The Solution

A digital ecosystem for premium wine

Every gift bottle becomes an NFT: the guest receives a token via email, and the wine remains in the Jako cellar until the right moment. Total traceability, optimal preservation, and a secondary market for exchanges without moving a single bottle.

Exclusive registration

Dedicated web page for Vinitaly guests: simple registration, reserved event access.

NFT as a digital voucher

Each guest receives an NFT via email representing their bottle: proof of ownership and right to collection.

Cellar preservation

Bottles remain stored by Jako until consumption: deferred tasting under optimal conditions.

Secondary market

NFTs can be exchanged or resold without moving the bottles: ideal for collectors and investors.
