We developed an intelligent planning engine for composing shipment loads. The system integrates data from ERP, WMS, and MES, generates multiple optimized proposals based on different criteria (tonnage, customers served, vehicle utilization), and allows the planner to compare, choose, and refine with real-time overrides. The result: from 8 hours of manual work per day to a strategic supervisory role.

With 2,000-3,000 order lines per month and 4,000+ product codes, the planner spent 8 hours a day manually recomposing WMS proposals. No system tracked past decisions.

The Solution

Multiple proposals, informed decision

The system does not generate a single solution but several optimized proposals per objective (max tonnage, max customers, balanced). The planner compares trade-offs, chooses, and can modify with an override; the system recalculates the impact in real-time.

Optimized Proposals

Automatic generation of alternative scenarios according to configurable criteria: maximization of tonnage, customers served, vehicle utilization, or balance.

Comparative Dashboard

Summary view with KPIs for each proposal: tons, % utilization, number of customers, average delivery date. Quick comparison before deciding.

Intelligent Override

Ability to force inclusion or exclusion of lines with immediate recalculation of the impact on tonnage and load utilization.

Unified Data

Native integration with ERP, WMS, and MES: availability, WIP, customer constraints, and payments in a single view for informed decisions.
